As part of the cPanel migration we will migrate across everything in your existing cPanel account - your website, emails, databases, redirects and other settings.
If your existing provider doesn’t use cPanel, we can still migrate your account across. We charge a flat $30 migration fee for non-cPanel account migrations.
You certainly can. During the ordering process you will be given the option to register a new domain name, transfer an existing name, or keep your domain name with your existing provider.
While there is no performance benefit in moving your domain name, we find some customers like to keep everything with the one provider. If you would like to transfer your domain to us you will first need to obtain the EPP code/ password for the domain name. This can be obtained from the client area of your existing domain name provider (or you can request it from them).
Once this has be obtained you will be given the option to enter it during the sign up process. This will initiate the transfer, and from there we will send a transfer request email to the registrant contact for the domain name. They will simply need to approve the transfer and it will then complete within 2 - 5 business days (depending on the type of name). Your Web Hosting service will be set up instantly once we have received payment so you can request a migration of your existing web hosting account while you are waiting for the domain transfer to complete.
If you need to move your hosting across to us urgently then we recommend transferring your domain name after your hosting account has been moved across. In this instance select the "I want to keep my domain name with my existing provider." option and we can transfer the domain name at a later date.
